Dakota Olson-Harris, President
Dakota is a dedicated Army National Guard member with over 16 years of service. She began her career as a tank mechanic before earning her commission as a Combat Engineer Officer. Her military service includes deployments to Iraq and the United Arab Emirates.
On the civilian side, she works as a counselor specializing in readjustment counseling for Veterans, active service members, and their families. She is also a yoga instructor through Veterans Yoga Project.
A proud wife and bonus mom to four children, she recently welcomed a baby girl into her family, making a total of five kids. She and her family also share their home with two dogs, Paco and Elsa.
An avid adventurer, she and her family enjoy exploring through walks, hiking, camping, and road trips to visit loved ones.
Libby Beck, Secretary
Libby joined the board in May 2024. An Army Nurse Corps Veteran, she has been an RN for 18 years. She currently works for the VA Puget Sound, specifically serving female veterans in cancer prevention. In addition to her BSN, Libby has an MBA from the University of Michigan - Go Blue!
Libby lives in Olympia, WA with her two boys, Atlas (14) and Levi (10). She loves yoga, rock climbing, paddle boarding, scuba diving, riding her motorcycle, and exploring the beautiful PNW and beyond.
Working with Reveille and Retreat brings great satisfaction to Libby. She believes we are all longing for authenticity and connection, and loves helping female Veterans build a community where they can be deeply seen and known.
Emilie Anderson, Treasurer
Emilie has over 20 years of dedicated service in the Oregon Army National Guard, beginning her career as an enlisted Combat Medic and advancing to her current role as an Engineer Officer. Her military experience includes deployment to Iraq, overseas missions in Oman, Mongolia, and Morocco, as well as an 18-month Active Duty tour in Europe.
In her civilian career, Emilie serves as a Deputy Fire Marshal, bringing a strong background in public safety and emergency management.
She is supported by her husband and three children, whose encouragement is vital to her commitments. Outside of her professional and military service, Emilie enjoys riding horses, cooking, and hiking whenever her schedule allows.
Chasity Dummann
Chasity began her nursing career in the Army Nurse Corps, serving four years at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu and Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. Over the past 28 years, she has gained diverse experience across multiple specialties, including NICU, burn unit, and operating room. For the past three years, her focus has been supporting veterans as a nurse at the VA, where she has developed a deeper connection with veterans and a passion for providing support, resources, and understanding.
Outside of her professional life, Chasity’s family and her life in Bend, Oregon, keep her grounded and inspired. She lives with her husband, their middle-school daughter—who is a wrestler and horseback rider—along with their cat, chickens, and horse. Riding and being around horses have played a meaningful role in her own healing journey. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, practicing yoga, camping, and appreciating the natural beauty of Central Oregon.
Marie Pratuch
Marie joined the United States Army in February 1991, serving as a Combat Medical Specialist. She was stationed overseas in Germany, providing medical support to units training prior to deployment in the Gulf War.
After her military service, Marie pursued a career as a Medical Assistant, a field in which she worked for 20 years. Currently, she is a dedicated artist, teaching and creating pottery. She is also passionate about weaving and printmaking.
Marie was married in 2004 and is the proud mother of four adult children, a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren. Her family also includes a lively menagerie of pets: Coco, a Yorkie; Greta, a rescued Corgi mix; and Neha, a rescued Doberman.
Mary Kreis
Dr. Kreis was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army's Medical Service Corps after earning her bachelor's degree. She completed her master's degree while on active duty and was promoted to Major. Through the GI Bill, she earned her Ph.D. in Higher Education and Sport Administration from the University of Miami.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, Dr. Kreis earned the Airborne Parachutist and Air Assault badges. She graduated from the Master Fitness Trainer School at age 20, sparking her interest in exercise science and sport management. She competed on the U.S. Armed Forces Military Pentathlon Team, representing the U.S. in NATO competitions in France and the Netherlands. Her last military assignment was as a Medical Service Corps training officer in a Combat Support Hospital in Coraopolis, PA.
Ashley Miller
Ashley joined the U.S. Army in 1999 and brings nearly two decades of experience immersed in military culture—serving as an enlisted Soldier, Officer, Department of Defense contractor, and Department of the Army Civilian (DAC). After leaving military service in 2017, Ashley successfully transitioned to civilian life, earning her Master of Social Work (MSW) and becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Through her private practice, Ashley now supports fellow Veterans as they navigate the challenges of reintegration and personal growth, providing mental health counseling to clients across Oregon.
A lifelong equestrian, Ashley earned a National Championship in Competitive Trail Riding from the North American Trail Ride Conference (NATRC) in 1996. She became certified in the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) model for Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) in 2015 while living abroad in Europe for a decade.
Today, Ashley combines her love of horses—particularly her own horse, Dutton—and her dedication to helping others heal through equine-assisted work. She is passionate about fostering connection and resilience among women Veterans through organizations such as the Reveille & Retreat Project, creating safe, supportive spaces for healing, growth, and renewal.
Her loyal canine companions, Yoda and Pokey, are never far from her side.
