Empowering Military Women

through healing, growth and community

We exist to bring about meaningful change for military women cultivating safe spaces to heal, connect, thrive and succeed in every aspect of their lives.

The Project

Through a carefully crafted blend of healing modalities, empowerment workshops, and personalized development sessions, our retreats offer a profound journey of self-discovery and growth specifically for military women.

We understand the unique challenges faced by women in the military community, and our programs are designed to address these challenges, fostering resilience, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Our team of experienced facilitators and mentors create a supportive and nurturing environment where participants can explore their innermost selves, heal from past traumas, and unlock their full potential.

But our commitment doesn't end with the retreat experience

We recognize the importance of ongoing support and connection, which is why our post-retreat initiatives are just as vital.

Through virtual meet-ups, online forums, and exclusive events, we facilitate continued engagement and foster a sense of belonging within our growing community. Together, we stand with strength, solidarity, and empowerment for military women.

BEFORE YOU BUY

We are using a donation management platform called GiveButter. In one of the last steps, it asks for an optional platform fee of 12%. They are awesome and provide their services free of charge to nonprofits such as ours, so would recommend it if you're in the position to.

The 12% platform fee is easy to miss though, so just a heads up that you can pass on that additional payment.

Support our women veterans: contribute today to make a lasting impact!

Your donation will help us continue our work for providing free retreats that foster resilience, provide support, and empower these brave women to thrive in every aspect of their lives. Together, we can create lasting change and ensure they have the resources they need to heal and succeed.

Donate your time, money or space and be a part of their journey towards empowerment and success!

An epic weekend with epic ladies
I had the opportunity to do a mountain biking retreat with a group of women veterans and it was not what I expected. I’ve always been in the “unicorn” group (black, female, technical, Army officer). I’m usually the only one that looks like me in majority settings so I went to the retreat a little hesitant but after day one I’m so glad I went. Reveille and Retreat brought together a group of very different but also same ladies together to come as we were and enjoy a weekend of mountain biking. I’m very new to mountain biking so I was anxious in that sense but I’m also not a retreat person b/c I’m a reserved introvert that enjoys being alone in my own space. The weekend and group was much needed for my mental and physical health. There is a big need for the reveille and retreat project for female vets as we usually don’t have a space for us. Someone once said, “Don’t trade your authenticity for approval” and I most definitely did not with this experience.

Captain Dakota Olson-Harrisll

I am currently serving in the Army National Guard and have been for the past 15 years. I started enlisted as a tank mechanic then earned my commission as a Combat Engineer Officer. I have two deployments, Iraq and United Arab Emirates.

On the civilian side I work as a counselor providing readjustment counseling for Veterans, current service members and their families.

I am a wife and a bonus mom to four kiddos. We have recently added to our family with a baby girl, totaling five kids. We also have two dogs, Paco and Elsa.

Our family loves to go on adventures whether it's walks, hiking, camping or just going on a road trip to visit family.

Captain Kim Liszka

I have served in the United States Army/Reserves as a Combat Medic, Combat Nurse, Flight Nurse Instructor and one of the Top Female athletes in the Army.

I worked 20+ years as an ER nurse and then decided to explore the world and became a travel nurse.  I am an Advanced Wilderness Expedition Provider and I was Chief Medical Officer for numerous endurance/survival expeditions in different countries.

I have a son, Jace and a daughter in law, Sammy and 2 grand animals, Joey & Bear. My dog Camo is my best buddy. Camo is the sweetest yellow Labrador Retriever to walk this earth. He loves licking snow, riding the ocean waves, visiting carnivore food trucks and loves belly rubs and treats.

Fun Fact about me : I’ve lived in the Reality TV World! Fear Factor, American Ninja Warrior-Military Edition, American Tarzan, Spartan Namibia and more to come!
